HIGH LINE is a new free NYC park,
in Meatpacking District & Chelsea area.
Opening Summer 2009 : 7am - 10pm
The High Line is built atop a 1930s elevated freight rail structure;
its design and plantings are based on the environment that grew
naturally when trains stopped running on it.
Visitor access may be limited in June, due to the anticipated
high volume of visitors and ongoing construction work.
The entrance to the High Line Park is at the Gansevoort Street
access point, and you may exit the park at any of the northern
access points; 14th, 16th, 18th, and 20th street.
